Source of Funds & AML Compliance
The Grenada CBI program maintains industry-leading KYC and AML standards. Applicants must present:
- Six to twelve months of audited bank ledgers, tax returns, and evidence of income generation.
- Legitimate origin of funds—corporate sale, inheritance, investment divestment, or labor income.
- Clear documentation even for crypto-derived capital (though crypto is not accepted directly).
All adult applicants (17+) must complete virtual interviews and police/medical background checks .
The investment must be channelled via licensed banks to ensure a transparent audit trail. High-risk applicants (e.g., PEPs or those from flagged jurisdictions) are subject to enhanced due diligence. Licensed CBI agents are legally required to oversee applications, ensuring adherence to the CIU's rigorous standards .
