Residency Obligations, Physical Presence & Exemptions

Grenada requires no residential stay for citizenship acquisition. However, new regulations now set a 30-day minimum stay within five years, enforced via immigration records, with failure to comply potentially incurring fines up to 10% of the base investment and even citizenship revocation.

Exemptions may apply for seniors, minors, or individuals with proven medical or business constraints, although these remain discretionary. Applicants should plan a brief five-day visit initially and schedule additional short visits during the five-year term to ensure compliance and program alignment.
