Family Inclusion
Family Inclusion
Both the CES and MPRP programs permit the inclusion of a wide range of dependents, albeit with strict documentation and dependency requirements.
Eligible family members include:
- Spouse or legally recognized partner
- Children under 18
- Dependent unmarried adult children under 29, provided they are financially dependent and not employed
- Parents and grandparents of the main applicant or spouse, over age 55, if fully supported
Proof of dependency is typically shown via sworn affidavits, financial records, and co-residency documentation. Inclusion during the initial application stage is more cost-effective and procedurally seamless; adding family members post-approval entails additional contributions and re-evaluation.
Legal advisors often counsel clients to include extended family from the outset, particularly as rules may change mid-process.
