• I-485 Adjustment or consular processing: 6–12 months
  
• I-829 (removal of conditions): 24–36 months
  
  

E-2 timelines are faster:

• Company setup and prep: 1–2 months
  
• Consular appointment or change of status: 4–8 weeks
  
• Visa issuance: varies by country (2–5 years validity)
  
  

Backlogs exist for EB-5 (especially for China, India, Vietnam), but reserved visas may shorten wait times. I-526E filings under RIA allow for concurrent filing, expediting work authorization and adjustment for applicants in the U.S.
